Safeguarding
A School Where Every Child Is Known and Safe
At Sherborne School Jeddah, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a secure, nurturing environment where every pupil feels valued, respected and protected and where families always know they can come to us with a concern.
Our Approach to Safeguarding
Every child flourishes when they feel truly safe and cared for. That is why safeguarding sits at the heart of our school, shaping how we train our staff, how we work with families and how we respond when a concern is raised. All staff receive regular safeguarding training and follow clear, consistent procedures to identify and respond to concerns promptly and appropriately.
If you ever have a concern about your child's welfare, please contact the school immediately. We will always act swiftly and in the best interests of your child.
Safeguarding Is a Partnership
Our Child Protection Officer is Mrs Victoria McManus, who is also our Head of Inclusion. She oversees the School's Child Protection Committee. We work closely with parents and, where necessary, external agencies to ensure every child is fully supported both within school and beyond it. Our open-door approach means families always know who to speak to and how to raise a concern with confidence.
Every Sunday morning, members of our Executive Leadership Team are in the Parent Café, ready to listen, connect and support our school community.
