Horse riding

Sherborne School Jeddah is delighted to launch its new co-curricular horse-riding programme in partnership with Trio Sporting, offering pupils a unique opportunity to learn and grow beyond the classroom.

The first session began with engaging theory sessions, where pupils developed an understanding of horse care, essential safety practices, and the equipment used for riding. These foundations were then brought to life as pupils stepped into the arena for their practical riding lessons.

Under expert guidance, pupils learned how to get into the saddle with confidence, developed correct riding posture, and experienced their first trots.. What began with curiosity quickly grew into confidence, as pupils embraced each stage of the experience with enthusiasm and focus.

Throughout the programme, what stood out most was not only the development of new skills, but the resilience, determination, and willingness to take on a new challenge.

This initiative reflects Sherborne School Jeddah’s commitment to providing meaningful co-curricular experiences that support the development of confident, capable, and well-rounded individuals.
